I like the positioning, the front of the loco 'pops' against the dark portal and any farther out it would start to get tangled up with the rock fence.
The composoition is excellent with just the right amount of fully inclusive railroad paraphernalia to add very relevant interest and depth.
I like the fact that I can read the tunnel signage and the texture in the rock at the top middle and right of the photograph is superb.

It either needs straightning clockwise some or the tunnel is heading for the Columbia.

Very nice.Thumbs Up!

Interesting photo in that all three CP diesels are painted in what might be termed classic colours. However, between the overhead wire, the tower in the background and
the crossing signal the images falls flat. yes the girls waving is different however
at the very least remove the three aforementioned items and maybe the imagewould look better.
Then too the locomotives although all CP are indistinct. I'd trash the photo and mark the image up to experience. I vote NO

The people who operate your train don't seem to me to be very accomodating.
The locomotive is I believe ex-CN one of many stateside and
the photo is OK. Maybe photo shop out the dome light inside the cab as it detracts from the emphasis of the bright number 15 and the headlamp on low.

Different shot different feel I give it a mark of one, not total acceptance.

Long train, hot train train too far away...
Yes there is evidence of where the train is headed but somehow
the next shot with the train up closer turns my crank more.

The train appears almost as an afterthought on the landscape; does itreally belong here?

I vote this one as a no

I received a clarification of the name from the photographer
a few days ago. Location Location Location and also from
where he photographed the oncomingtrain.

I like it I like it. The pole line frames from the left the foliage farther back frames on the right and the exhaust suitably blurs the back ground.

I see those images here and think to myself "how would this photo or that photo look on my office wall? "And I have a long wall on the west side of my office (theo ther side is windows).

This one could very easily occupy that wall. Maybe in the middle to go with the train in the middle however still
in the middle. Just go for it,,I vote this one as a keeper.

Unlike the shot done prior this one is good.

My understanding is the pole line is required
to operate the signals according to E-21.
The train looks lost!
Lost in reflection to the massiveness of the surrounding environment.
The image is nice but doesn't excite me. Mind if one of those
vertical poles had disappeared in photo shop i don't think
I would have minded. Thing is with the poles the scene
is devoid of any interference of the outside world other than for the locomotives and the train. Keep the poles, put lamps on them, keep the photo I approve..

The locomotive looks lost!
Perhaps if the locomotive and train had been just a wee
bit farther out ofthe tunnel..
Mindthe "hardware' surrounding the tunnerl portal is most interesting;
what with the stone work, the aged portal and the various vertical instrucments of past communications.
I vote for a yes
